About Us

After many years of visiting Emerald Isle, we were fortunate to acquire Sea Star in March 2022. We cherish the opportunity to share our gorgeous beach cottage with families who wait all year for their beach escape. Our goal is to make your vacation dreams come true! We will strive to continually enhance your experiences at Sea Star - look for new updates every season!

A little bit about us...

We fell in love with Emerald Isle many years ago, when we first vacationed here at a friend's beach house. We visited the island many more times, until we realized that we had to make our time more permanent!

We enjoy fishing, flounder gigging, boating, shellfishing, and long walks on the beach with our dogs.

Speaking of dogs... our passion is sharing our home with rescue dogs, and there is an extra-soft spot for older beagles with special needs or terminal illness. We have countless cherished memories with our pack, and have had many "loves of our lives."

While Sea Star is not currently pet-friendly, we hope to convert some features in the future to accommodate your furry friends!

When we are not beaching, we enjoy gardening, old Mopars, antique carnival glass & cigar cutters, and cooking.
